Each camp team will submit a 15 second to 5 minute video showing off their spirit. Content should be creative and original:

This is a very difficult year for the camp community, and especially hard on our campers who are not at camp or adjusting to new changes this summer. Camp Madness offers an opportunity for you to stay engaged with your camp community and for your community to feel your camp spirit virtually while you are unable to come together in person. Your participation in Camp Madness raises money to help send children from under-resourced communities to overnight summer camp through SCOPE. SCOPE partners with nonprofit, ACA accredited, overnight summer camps across the US to provide life-changing camp experiences for ALL children.
Register your camp team using the button below. You can register as many teams as you'd like for your camp.
Submit your $125 entry fee. $25 will be made as a contribution to SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education). Upon registration, your team contact will receive an email link with video entry details.
Submit original video content by Wednesday, October 7th, 2020 at 11:59 PM EDT.
Camp Madness will randomly place all teams into brackets to compete head-to-head with other teams.
Step 5: Voting begins on a third party voting platform, Monday, October 12 at 7:00 AM EDT. Personal data will not be kept, stored or maintained at the conclusion of the competition. Data is used only for the purpose of notifying voters via e-mail throughout the competition.

1) Each video must be submitted between Monday, August 3 and Wednesday, October, 7th at 11:59 PM EDT. Upon registration, you will receive a submission link.
2) All videos must be newly created original content.
3) Only staff and campers from your camp may participate in the creation of your video. Entries must be original content and have licenses and permissions for all content, including music.
4) The goal of this competition is to show the spirit of your camp team. You can do this in any way you like, but all content must be "camp appropriate," and posting is at the complete discretion of Camp Madness competition committee.
5) The winner of each head-to-head round will be determined by the team who receives the most votes. Votes do not carry over from round to round.
6) Voters must be over 13 years of age or vote with a parent or guardian's email address.
7) The competition will begin on Monday, October 12th, 2020

The heart of Happy Camper Live is bringing the summer camp feeling into your home 365 days a year. Great activities, goofy fun, exciting adventures, all in a safe place to explore, be creative, build confidence, find a passion, and grow.
Two and half years in development, Happy Camper Live was the brainchild of Allison Miller, 22 year summer camp veteran. Her vision is to see that every child has the opportunity to go to summer camp. Happy Camper Live shows kids all the possibilities that American summer camp has to offer. This virtual camp themed platform was built to encourage kids to go to camp.

SUMMER CAMP OPPORTUNITIES PROMOTE EDUCATION
SCOPE was established for one simple reason, to provide summer camp opportunities to ALL children, regardless of socio-economic background. Children who receive SCOPE camperships gain access to attend a nonprofit, ACA-accredited, overnight summer camp throughout the United States, free of cost to their family.
Camp teaches life skills that encourage children to reach their potential long after summer camp has ended. 100% of the children receiving SCOPE camperships commit to staying in school.

How can people vote for my video?
Each round, your team will be sent a link to voting for that round. It is your camp's responsibility to share this link with your community via email, social media, etc.
How long does voting last for each round?
Each round will have a designated time frame during which your camp community may cast their votes. Voting timeframes can be found on the Camp Madness landing page at happycamperlive.com.
What does Camp Madness do with my camp data?
Happy Camper Live, the host of Camp Madness, is a COPPA certified platform. While we are using a 3rd party platform to run this competition, no data will be collected or used in any manner unrelated to this competition. No data will be sold.
Who is eligible to compete?
Any overnight or day camp for children ages 3-18. Registration is done on a first come first serve basis. Once the brackets are closed, a team may be put on a waiting list to enter the competition.
How do I enter my team? Can I enter more than 1 team?
Click the "Enter Your Team!" button and complete the regsitration from including payment of the $125 entry fee.
How do I submit my video?
Once you register for the competition you will recive a confirmation email with a link to upload your video to the third party platform. All videos remain property of the camp and will be permanently deleted from the third party platform at the end of the competition.

What security measures are in place to ensure the integrity of the voting process during the competition?
Upstaged Productions has secure software in place to prevent voter fraud. Every vote requires a first name, last name, and verified email address in order to count.
How old do I need to be to vote?
You must be 13 years of age or older to vote in the contest. Anyone under 13 years old must vote through their parent's or guardian's email account.
